Hi,
I noticed if a wiki is in a readâonly location, then searching seems to not work (never find any match), which is an issue for searching the help when Wikidpad is installed at a readâonly location. The work around is to copy the help wiki in a userâs directory or to read the documentation on the web.
The documentation refers to the Wiki -> Export menu, which seems have a different name: Wiki -> Publish As HTML.
Searching in a page (CTRL-F) seems to work only when in editing mode, not in preview mode (which is my favourite reading mode). The documentation does not mention this, so it may make someone believe it does not work.
When I first launched Wikidpad, I created a wiki, then wanted to open the help, but it did not work, complaining about being unable to run a new instance because object of type `None` does not have a `len()`. This happened during the first launch. When I closed Wikidpad and restarted it, I did not get this issue anyâmore.
This is not a rant, this is just to tell (which is always better than not telling)
Have an happy day
